The Chief’s stranglehold on the town’s people is unbreakable. His lust for pain and murder is unquenchable. Something must be done, but Sam doesn’t want him to die. And yet, here Sam stands, on the bank of the moonlit lake, digging the Chief’s awaiting grave.
